Doulton Ultracarb is a four stage cartridge combining the highly efficient filtration properties of ceramic with the enhanced water treatment properties of activated carbon and the heavy metal reduction capabilities of ion exchange media.

Manufactured recommended change would be 4000 litres or a maximum of 12 months.

The W9222909 Supercarb variant is no longer being manufactured so this Ultracarb variant has superseded it.

Second Stage:
BioTec Enhanced anti-bacterial properties. Doulton ceramic filter candles have an anti-bacterial matrix integrated into the ceramic mix, making the candle self-sterilising and inhibiting bacterial growth on the filter.

Third Stage:
An inner core of activated carbon block removes chlorine, taste, odour and organic compounds.

Fourth Stage:
Ion exchange resin reduces Lead and other heavy metals.

* Flush filter for 10 Minutes or 15 litres of water before use.
