Abode Gosford Aquifier Water Filter Tap

The Gosford Aquifier tap is a high quality 3 way filter tap by Abode. It features classic styling and provides everyday hot and cold water as well as fresh crystal clear filtered water all from a single tap.

Abode's unique integrated water filtration technology allows the flow of hot, cold and filtered water through the same spout and using just two handles.

Available in either a chrome or brushed nickel finish and supplied as a tap only or with a standard or premium water filter kit.

The Everpure 4H filter cartridge is a 0.5 micron carbon block filter, which offers scale inhibition and a 11,355 litre capacity (or 6 months, whichever comes first. The filter offers taste & odour reduction, scale control, chemical & impurity reduction as well as bacteria reduction.

Premium Filter Kit Includes:

• 1 x Everpure Claris Medium filter cartridge
• 1 x Everpure Claris Gen 2 filter head - 3/8" PF
• 1 x John Guest Angle Stop Valve - 15mm PF x 15mm PF x 3/8" PF
• 1 x John Guest Straight Adaptor - 3/8" PF x 3/8" BSP
• 2 Metres x John Guest LLDPE Tubing - 3/8"

The Everpure Claris Medium is a 5 micron carbon block filter, which offers scale control and a 3,002 litre* capacity (or 12 months, whichever comes first). Compared to the Everpure 4H it offers a much better level of scale protection and is better suited to hard water areas. It features a 5 stage filtration process and the Claris Gen 2 filter head features a variable bypass, allowing easy tailoring of carbonate hardness levels.

*The capacity is based on an influent water hardness of 180 ppm with standard bypass settings.

The Ceramic Filter Kit includes:

• 1 x Aquamaster Ceramic filter cartridge
• 1 x Aquamaster Filter housing and fittings
• 1 x John Guest Angle Stop Valve - 15mm PF x 15mm PF x 3/8" PF or Self piercing saddle valve for 15mm or 22mm copper or a JOHN GUEST ASV10 ANGLE STOP VALVE 1/2" BSP x 1/4" Pushfit
• 1 x John Guest Straight Adaptor - 3/8" PF x 3/8" BSP
• 2 Metres x John Guest LLDPE Tubing - 3/8" or 1/4" depending on which mains connector is selected.

Stage 1:Outer-shell micro filtration to remove bacteria and sediment.

Stage 2:-Anti-bacterial formula within the ceramic matrix inhibits microbiological growth.

Stage 3:-Activated carbon in the filter takes out chlorine and organics improving taste and odour.                            

Stage 4:-Heavy metal removal including lead.

A 6 month filter change or 3000 litre usage or whichever comes first is recommended.

In the unlikely event that you should experience any defect in the materials or workmanship of your new Abode product, the following terms of warranty apply for;

• Abode kitchen taps within 5 years of purchase*

The purchaser’s sole remedy shall be the replacement (at the manufacturer’s discretion) of all or any part of the product that is defective

* For kitchen taps, all working parts and valves are guaranteed for a period of 5 years from purchase. O-rings and decorative surfaces are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase provided that our advice concerning care has been observed and no scouring or chemical agents have been used.

The above is provided that the product has been used for normal domestic purposes in the UK and that the care, installation and maintenance instructions have been observed.
